The Technology Department provides cost-effective, timely service and support of the educational programs and technologies used by all District stakeholders to enhance learning opportunities for every student.

The Technology Department provides support for District 15's:

• Computer network

• Financial system

• Student information system

• Food service program

• Telephone and voicemail systems

• Security and ID access system

• Web site, mail server and other servers

• Administrative and classroom computers

• Student Data Privacy

• Student Required Use and Internet Safety Policy

Mission of the Department of Technology

District 15 believes that technology plays a significant role in the educational process and can be used by the District to help accomplish its mission. All learners will achieve meaningful literacy with technology, allowing them to develop the thinking and lifelong learning skills necessary to be a contributing member of an evolving society.
