2023-2024 MSD15 Registration
Welcome! Registration for the 2023-24 school year is now open.
Using PowerSchool Parent Portal, parents and guardians will be able to register their student online. This can be completed using a computer, tablet, phone through the web browser or by using the PowerSchool app. The app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.)
Registration plans
A) RETURNING STUDENT: Pre-k to 7th grades
b) New STUDENT: Pre-K
c) New STUDENT: Kindergarten
d) New STUDENT: 1st to 8th Grades
Plan A. Returning Students
A returning student is any student who is currently enrolled in Marquardt School District 15 (PK – 7) or is receiving services from the school district. To begin registration, you must a have a Parent Portal account in PowerSchool and a valid email address.
If you do not have a Parent Portal account set up, contact your child’s school office to obtain the access information to do so.
Helpful Notes Before You Begin
Registration does not need to be completed all at once. You may click Save for Later on any of the 5 pages and return later. Once you are confident that all information is completed, please click Submit.
D15 is no longer requiring Returning Families to prove residency as part of the registration process, however the District does reserve the right to request proof of residency at any time they deem necessary.
Registration Fees will be assessed and invoiced in the fall.
Start the Returning Student Registration Process
Log in to PowerSchool Parent Portal
Click on Forms located on left-hand side
Click on Enrollment tab at the top
Fill out all forms listed
Plan B. New Preschool Students
Any child ages 3-5 who is not currently enrolled in a MSD15 program or eligible to enroll in Kindergarten may be eligible for MSD15’s preschool program. Please contact Metropolitan Family Services, MSD15’s preschool partner, at 630-784-4802 to set up a preschool screening to see if your child is eligible. If your child is accepted to the MSD15 preschool program, you will be given registration instructions for new preschool students.
Plan C. New Kindergarten Students
Any child who reaches the age of five on or before September 1st may enter kindergarten at the beginning of the same school year. You will be required to show an original Birth Certificate.
Process for New Kindergarten Students
Step #1
You will need to complete a Proof of Residency packet and gather the necessary supporting documents. Proof of Residency packets can be printed using the links below. If you are unable to print, packets may be picked up at any school office during the school year or at the District Office. All incoming kindergarteners must show proof of residency regardless of whether they have immediate family members already enrolled in the District.

Step #2
Kindergarten Registration Nights are being held at the District Office on April 24th, 26th, and 27th. This is an opportunity for parents to provide proof of residency and complete forms on site. Please see the flyers above. The District will provide bus transportation to and from the following stops:

Go your school’s front office to prove residency and complete the online Pre-Registration Form.
You must have a valid email address to begin registration.
If approved, you will receive an email with information on how to create a Parent Portal account or add your new student to your existing Parent Portal account.
Once you have your Parent Portal account you may begin filling out the New Student Forms.

Click on the blue gear at the top right and turn on notifications. This is important in order to be notified of the approval or rejection of certain forms.

Plan D. New Students Grades 1-8
If your child is in grade 1-8 and is new to Marquardt School District 15, you must bring:
Original Birth Certificate
Illinois State Transfer Form (if provided from previous school)
If your child is transferring from another state, your child will need a current eye exam, dental exam, physical exam, and immunization records
