COVID-19 Testing in DuPage County
DuPage County is now offering community-based COVID-19 testing at the DuPage County Complex. Testing is free but limited tests are available per day. This is a drive-thru testing site where individuals will give themselves a nasal swab test with instructions from staff. 

Location
The entrance is located on County Farm Road a few blocks North of Roosevelt Road at a stoplight. Follow the signs through the campus to the test site.

Pandemic EBT available

All students who are eligible for free meals at school are now eligible for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program. If you already have a Link card, benefits will automatically be applied. If you don’t have a Link card, apply at https://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=124142 by August 31, 2020. Families can participate in both P-EBT & meal distribution currently available at school.

Tri-town YMCA & Northern Illinois Food Bank

Free meals for kids 18 and under are distributed at St. Matthew Parish Tuesday-Thursday 4-6 pm and on Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd, Glendale Heights

Bloomingdale Township Food Pantry

Open Pantry Every Wednesday & Friday 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Open pantry is available to qualified individuals living in Bloomingdale Township. You can visit the pantry without an appointment during this time though it is recommended that you arrive no later than 10:45 a.m. to guarantee service. This service is offered twice per calendar month.

Addison Township Food Pantry

Addison’s food pantry is open on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M for residents 60 & older and from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. for all Addison Township residents in need of food.  The pantry is located at the 50 E. Oak St. entrance. Residents of Addison Township can receive food twice a month. However, anyone who has an emergency need for food can come in at any time. We offer non-perishable food items along with USDA commodities. Donations of food and personal hygiene items are gladly accepted.

Child Care Assistance

YWCA Childcare Assistance Program

Programs & Back-up Care for Essential Workers

  • Families may apply for supports by contacting emergencychildcare@ywcachicago.org or 800-781-7247. They will work to link you to a child care provider in the area.

  • Payments for services will be reimbursed through a grant process to child care providers for qualifying parents. Essential workers who do not qualify for the grant will need to pay the child care provider directly.
